BEAR League's den cam 'Mama Sugar Bear and Cub Snowflake' on 2-1-25 at Lake Tahoe. Mid-day yawn by Mama Sugar Bear and then her very young cub hollering out, "Mama, I'm hungry!".Snowflake was born under a house and was two days old before anyone noticed. Now the homeowner has guests until mid-April, when the bear family emerges and heads out into the world. Upon hearing he had a Mama and Baby bear under his house the homeowner officially began referring to himself as, 'Grandpa Bear'.This is common at Lake Tahoe but BEAR League does our best to encourage residents to bear proof their crawl space B4 the bears enter and claim it as their den.
